Policeman SPM - Pike fly

Policeman SPM is a classic color combo borrowed straight from the tackle boxes of spinning anglers – because some things have simply worked for years. The world is divided between those who love blue flies and those who claim blue doesn’t catch… only to end up fishing it anyway. Bonus? A red UV-active belly – because even a cop needs to stand out sometimes.

The fly is available in two variants: 13 cm and 18 cm – letting you choose the right size for the conditions and fish activity.
UV-active colors respond strongly to sunlight, enhancing the lure’s visibility – especially in deeper or dimmer water.

The fly casts light and accurate – easily handled even with a #8 rod, but performs best with a #9.
During false casts, it sheds water quickly and forms a sleek bullet shape.
In the water it swells, pulses, and flows – delivering a strong yet natural signal.
It appears large but remains lightweight and easy to control.
You don’t need to animate it – but if you give it some action, it can surprise you with its unpredictable movement.

Also works great with a spinning rod.
