Chub Ide SWF – mucha szczupakowa i głowacicowa imitująca jazia i klenia

Chub SWF - Pike streamer

Chub SWF is a realistic imitation of a young chub or other small cyprinids – natural prey found in many types of waters. Its subdued colors and lifelike profile make it effective in both lakes and rivers. It’s a versatile choice for pike, zander, big trout, and huchen.

The fly is available in two size variants: 13 cm and 18 cm – so you can match the size to conditions and fish activity.

COLOR: Chub SWF
MODEL: Single Hook
LENGTH: approx. 13–18 cm
ROD WEIGHT: 8–10 AFTM (ideally #9)
(13 cm casts well with a #8 rod, while 18 cm is best suited for #9–10. Ultimately, it depends on your casting technique and the conditions.)
WEIGHTING: None (recommended with a cheburashka for spinning)
CONSTRUCTION: 80–90% Snow Runner, 10–20% Flash (custom blend)
EYES: Tab Eyes
UV ACTIVE: No (the entire fly is tied in natural, non-UV-reactive colors)
HOOK: Traper SW40, Ahrex TP610 or Ahrex PR320
TECHNIQUE: Fly rod / spinning
TARGET SPECIES: Pike, zander, large trout, and huchen in still or flowing water

This streamer casts light and true – easily with a #8 rod, but it performs best on a #9.
It sheds water quickly during the cast and folds into a slim, streamlined shape. In the water, it swells, pulses, and flows – delivering a strong yet natural signal. Visually, it appears large, but it stays light and easy to control.
You don’t need to animate it – but if you do, it can surprise with unpredictable movement.

It also works great with a spinning rod.
Just add a cheburashka and retrieve it your way – from the drop, like a jerkbait, or in your own unique style.
A baitfish imitation that gets to work immediately – no guesswork needed.
