About us

Pike on the fly – just 15–20 years ago, this was a rare method in Poland. Today, it’s growing in popularity among more and more anglers. Interestingly, big streamers are just as popular with spin fishermen.
Pike is a magnificent fish – perfectly suited to fly-style presentations.
My name is Tomek, I live in Gdynia, Poland, and my journey with large flies began in the mid-1990s, when I was still chasing grayling on wet flies in the rivers of northern Poland. But I missed the big fish I remembered from my spinning days. Almost as a joke, a friend and I decided to enter a spinning competition – but this time, I brought a fly rod and a streamer.
The start was rough, but after just a few minutes I felt the take – my first Esox on the fly. That was the moment I knew there was no turning back.
Years of obsession with this style of fishing gave me the chance to explore all kinds of design and material solutions. In the early 2000s, I had the opportunity to run a commercial fishery on a Kashubian lake, which gave me the perfect testing ground – hundreds of hours spent refining flies, hundreds of pike caught. Those were incredible experiences.
Today, together with my wife Belcia, we run a business dedicated to producing large predator flies. What we offer now is the result of many years of work, testing, and experimentation.
Our flagship product is the Dubbing Brush, made from natural Snow Runner hair and our proprietary flash blends. It’s our own invention – a revolutionary material that has changed the way we approach fly design. From the very first trials, it showed enormous potential: lightweight, durable, and with incredible movement in the water.
I collaborate with many experienced anglers, both from Poland and abroad, who have shared their knowledge and passion with me over the years. Thanks to these partnerships and testing in all kinds of conditions, we’ve been able to create streamers perfectly suited for pike, perch, and zander, as well as exotic species like Peacock Bass, Arapaima, and Tarpon.
Pike Terror Flies is the result of years of experience, passion, and commitment. It’s also a promise: that every one of our flies carries a story – yours and ours.
We also share our passion through fly tying workshops and streamer courses. During our courses, we teach anglers how to choose the right materials, explore different construction techniques, design their own patterns, and rig gear properly for large flies.
We demonstrate how to cast big streamers and how to fish them effectively. But most of all, our workshops are a chance to connect with fellow anglers, exchange knowledge, and sharpen real-world skills.
Every participant walks away with practical abilities they can use immediately on their next fishing trip.
