Large articulated pike flies
Articulated pike streamers – for fly fishing and spinning
These are our largest pike flies. Their large, clearly defined profile can provoke fish that ignore smaller flies or conventional streamers, while the articulated construction gives the fly extensive freedom of movement: it kicks, folds and flashes its side. They are designed primarily for fly tackle, but also work with spinning gear when paired with a suitable Cheburashka weight.
In our experience, large flies are more selective and more often make contact with larger pike. Despite their size, they remain light and cast well.
Regardless of retrieve speed or current strength, they track steadily without rolling onto their side or spinning around their axis. They also withstand pike teeth: a dozen or more fish on one fly is not unusual for us.
