Chub SWFH – articulated huchen streamer
Chub SWFH is an articulated huchen streamer inspired by ide and small chub – natural prey species found in many types of water. Muted colours and a realistic profile make this fly work very well both in lakes and rivers. It is effective for pike and zander and, in this version with a limited amount of flash, it has been designed specifically for big trout, huchen and taimen.
Weighted versions are also available – for fast current, deep slots and winter conditions when you need to punch through slush or keep the streamer running in the deeper layers of the water.

The fly casts light and accurately – no problem even with a 9-weight, while the larger sizes work best with a 10-weight rod.
During false casts it sheds water quickly and folds into a slim projectile.
In the water it flares and pulses, keeping a strong yet natural signal.
Visually it looks big, but it remains light and easy to cast.
You do not have to overwork it – but if you play more with the retrieve, it can surprise you with its unpredictable movement. It also works with spinning gear. Our streamers are built for fly setups, but they perform excellently as spinning flies as well – especially when fished with a cheburashka.
It is a pike fly–style streamer that works straight away – no overthinking required.
