Autumn Red – articulated pike fly

Autumn Red is an autumn pike streamer built on our Autumn Red flash blend (copper, browns, gold, red) and black Nayat. The broad, meaty front pushes a lot of water, and the long, flash-heavy body gives a strong flicker with every strip. The fly draws a clear silhouette in the water column and doesn’t disappear in the background. A solid choice for pike when the fish are looking for a strong, energetic signal.
This is not a classic straight pike streamer – it’s an articulated predator fly for fish that demand more than just a straight retrieve, or when you simply need to serve them a bigger piece of meat. Thanks to its construction, when fished properly it breaks in the middle, darts off to the side and shows its flank.
This is a two-part baitfish-style fly, built on a solid hook and shank – a clearly larger pattern in every dimension. Thanks to the articulation the hook sits closer to the middle of the fly, which gives you more solid hook-ups, especially with big, cautious fish.
