Jari BCK - Pike streamer
Jari BCK – a pattern inspired by the dark brown fly of legendary Finnish pike hunter Jari Koski. Our version is a bit lighter – keeping the spirit of the original while adding a touch of finesse and clarity.
This fly not only catches fish – it inspires others, too. Jari BCK has been copied repeatedly, which says a lot about its effectiveness.
Out of respect for the original creator – and with his blessing – we’ve created a custom flash blend we simply call "Jari". Gold, silver, and copper play beautifully with the beige and brown tones of the fly, adding a subtle, classy shimmer.
The result? A streamer that doesn’t shout but still draws attention – especially in clear water and on pressured fisheries.
COLOR: Jari BCK
MODEL: Single Hook
LENGTH: approx. 13–18 cm

(13 cm casts easily on a #8, 18 cm feels best on rods #9–10, depending on casting style and conditions)
WEIGHTING: None (recommended with Cheburashka for spinning setups)
BODY: 70–80% Snow Runner (beige, brown), 20–30% Flash (gold, silver, copper – “Jari” mix)
EYES: Tab Eyes
UV REACTIVE: No
HOOK: Traper SW40, Ahrex TP610, or Ahrex PR320
TECHNIQUE: Fly / spinning
TARGET SPECIES: For pike – especially in clear water where subtle details matter
The fly casts confidently and easily – performs especially well on #9 rods.
In the air, it’s low-drag, sheds water quickly, and lands right on target.
In the water, it pulses softly, moves naturally, and gives off a refined flash – effective without being flashy.
For spinning? Absolutely. It pairs well with a Cheburashka, long drop presentations, and steady retrieves along reeds or drop-offs.
