Snow Runner (Nayat) is a natural hair with just the right stiffness to make it indispensable for tying large predator flies. It’s noticeably more springy than llama or Icelandic sheep – which means: no tangling, no matting, maximum control.
UV-active colors stay visible deeper and longer, even in low light or murky water. This helps predators locate the fly more easily, increasing effectiveness – especially in tough conditions.
In the water, it performs brilliantly. Even with minimal movement, it gives the fly a pulsing, lifelike action that stands out clearly compared to other materials. When properly placed on the hook, it allows you to build a large, full-profile fly using less material.
