Snow Runner (Nayat) — Bright Orange UV
Snow Runner (Nayat) is a natural hair whose characteristic stiffness makes it indispensable for tying large flies. It is considerably springier than llama or Icelandic sheep hair, which means no tangling, no matting and maximum control.
UV-active colours remain visible at greater depth and for longer, even in weak light or stained water. This helps predators locate the fly and can improve effectiveness in difficult conditions.
It performs exceptionally well in the water. Even minimal movement gives the fly a lively, pulsing action that clearly stands out from other materials. Positioned correctly on the hook, it allows you to build a large, visually full fly with less material.
Anyone who fishes for pike with a fly rod knows how difficult it is to combine a large profile with low weight. Snow Runner makes this possible. Flies tied with it are light and almost dry as soon as they leave the water, which makes them easy and accurate to cast.
The material works not only in large streamers for pike, zander and saltwater fish, but also in classic salmon flies and larger trout patterns. It is probably the most versatile natural hair available on the market.
