Red & Brown - Pike streamer
Red & Brown – autumn in looks, all-season in performance.
Muted, warm tones – browns, copper, and a touch of UV red – make this streamer work in a wide range of conditions, especially when other patterns stay in the box.
It’s a perfect choice for colder days and tougher sessions, but delivers throughout the season – from early spring (where regulations allow) to late autumn.
The UV red doesn’t dominate – it’s just a flash, giving predators a visual target.
Browns and earthy shades do the rest – naturally, purposefully, and effectively.
COLOR: Red & Brown
MODEL: Single Hook (pike fly on a single hook)
LENGTH: approx. 13–18 cm

(13 cm casts well on a #8, 18 cm performs best on #9–10 – depending on your casting style and conditions.)
WEIGHTING: None (recommended with a cheburashka weight for spinning)
BUILD: 70–80% Snow Runner (various brown shades), 20–30% Flash (UV red, copper, gold – subtle blend)
EYES: Tab Eyes
UV ACTIVITY: YES (UV red highlight)
HOOK: Traper SW40, Ahrex TP610 or Ahrex PR320
TECHNIQUE: Fly rod / spinning
TARGET SPECIES: Pike, zander, and other predators – especially in colder months, pressured waters, and during slow bites
The fly casts smoothly and accurately – easy on the arm, doesn’t overload your setup.
In the water, it keeps a natural pulse and subtle flash – it doesn’t scream, but it whispers just enough to tempt even lazy predators.
Best worked slowly, with pauses – but also reacts well to a bit of light twitching.
Spinning? Absolutely – pair it with a cheburashka and go for longer drops, especially in waters where fish have “seen it all.”
