Snow Runner (Nayat) is a natural hair with just the right stiffness to make it indispensable when tying large predator flies. It’s noticeably more springy than llama or Icelandic sheep hair – which means: no tangling, no matting, maximum control.
UV-active colors remain visible at greater depths and for longer periods, even in low light or murky water. This helps predators locate the fly more easily – increasing effectiveness, especially in difficult conditions.
In the water, it performs exceptionally well. Even with minimal movement, it gives the fly a pulsing, lifelike action that stands out clearly from other materials. Properly layered on the hook, it lets you build a large, full-profile fly with less bulk and material.
