Nayat Motor Oil

Nayat Motor Oil is our interpretation of the legendary colour used for years in soft plastics and other predator lures. Rusty brown tones transition into dark olive, so the colour changes along the length of the hair and gives the finished fly natural depth. We use it in streamers for pike, huchen and taimen, both as the main colour and as a darker back or finishing layer. It combines particularly well with copper, gold, brown, olive and natural flash blends. Motor Oil is exceptionally difficult to produce, so it appears in our shop irregularly. When it is available, it is worth acting quickly—we do not know when the next batch will be ready.
 
Nayat, also known as Snow Runner, is a natural material for tying streamers and large predator flies.

Skin pieces may vary in size; yield depends primarily on the density and length of the hair. We have selected Nayat for our own flies and for sale for many years, so every portion contains plenty of long, dense and fully usable material.
