SNOW RUNNER (Nayat) - Dark Green
Snow Runner (Nayat) is a natural hair whose characteristic stiffness makes it indispensable for working with large flies. It’s noticeably more springy than llama or Icelandic sheep hair – which means: no tangling, no matting, full control.
In the water, it performs beautifully. Even with minimal movement, it gives the fly a pulsing, lifelike action that clearly stands out compared to other materials. When properly laid on the hook, it allows you to build a large, visually bulky fly using less material.
Anyone who ties pike flies knows how hard it is to combine bulk with lightness. With Snow Runner, it works. Flies made from it are light and nearly dry when pulled from the water – making casting easier and more accurate.
This is a material that works not only in large streamers for pike, zander, and saltwater species, but also in classic salmon flies and larger trout patterns. Probably the most versatile natural hair available today.
Features:
– minimum length 15 cm (usually 17–20 cm)
– springy, tangle-free fibers
– super durable
– excellent in-water movement
– ideal for big pike streamers, small streamers, saltwater, and salmon flies
