Traper Dry Pack waterproof backpack – a classic that doesn’t let you down
This is not a “light little city pack”.
The Traper Dry Pack is a classic roll-top built for conditions where sooner or later everything gets wet. Simple, bombproof and fully waterproof – exactly what you need when your plans go beyond the promenade.
Three sizes – from everyday to extreme
The versions differ in more than just volume.
The smallest one is a solid companion for single-day trips.
The middle size is already a “serious dry bag” – it will easily hold gear for several days in the field.
And the largest? Well, if you ever move house, you can pack half your flat into it.
A roll-top that doesn’t fail
The roll-top closure is a proven classic – there’s nothing there to break.
As long as you’re not planning to go diving with it, you can trust it with your gear: this system won’t let you down in rain, spray or mud.
Construction and details
The backpack is made from fully waterproof 840D fabric with double-sided TPU lamination.
The main compartment is closed by rolling and clipping down the sides.
Inside there is a pocket with two zippered sections.
On the outside you get: a front pocket with a splash-resistant YKK zip, two elastic side pockets for a bottle, flask or thermos. Above them – adjustable bungee cords for securing spare rods or a wading staff. On the top – a clip for your landing net.
The carrying system consists of a stiffened, padded back panel with moulded channels and comfortable, adjustable shoulder straps with a sternum strap.
The wide hip belt carries the load very well on longer walks, and when you do not need it you can easily remove it (it is attached with hook-and-loop).
On the hip belt and shoulder straps you will find D-rings, clips, loops, bungees and hook-and-loop tabs for attaching accessories. The lower D-rings let you clip on the Hippack Extreme – together they form a practical, integrated carry system.
