SNOW RUNNER (Nayat) - Sardine
Snow Runner (Nayat) is a natural hair whose unique stiffness makes it indispensable for tying large flies. It’s noticeably more springy than llama or Icelandic sheep hair – which means: no tangling, no matting, full control.
In the water, it performs exceptionally well. Even with minimal movement, it gives the fly a pulsing, lifelike action that stands out clearly compared to other materials. Properly laid on the hook, it allows you to build a large, visually full fly with less material.
Anyone who ties pike flies knows how hard it is to combine volume with lightness. With Snow Runner, it works. Flies made from it are lightweight and almost dry after the cast – which means easier, more accurate throws.
This is a material that works not only in large streamers for pike, zander, and saltwater predators, but also in traditional salmon flies and oversized trout patterns. Probably the most versatile natural hair available on the market.
Features:
– minimum length 15 cm (typically 17–20 cm)
– springy, tangle-free fibers
– highly durable
– excellent movement in water
– ideal for large pike streamers, smaller baitfish flies, saltwater and salmon patterns
