Baby Peacock is coloured to resemble a juvenile peacock bass. This large baitfish fly is designed for peacock bass, also known as tucunaré, as well as payara and arapaima, or pirarucu, in South American rivers and lakes.

The construction is based on a hand-twisted Dubbing Brush made from Nayat (Snow Runner) and Pike Terror Flash. The streamer retains volume without becoming unnecessarily heavy, allowing it to track steadily during both faster and slower retrieves.

The same pattern can be tied with either a slim or a broader profile. The best choice depends on the fishery, retrieve and target species. If no preference is provided, we will tie the standard, broader profile.
