All Black is one of those patterns that simply belongs in every fly box.

An entirely black silhouette has long been one of the most effective colour combinations used by fly anglers worldwide. It works in salt and fresh water, in bright sun, under cloud, at dawn, at dusk and after dark. That is why black streamers are essential equipment on trips targeting large predators.

The fly is tied on strong saltwater hooks and is effective for tarpon, GT, arapaima (pirarucu), peacock bass (tucunaré), payara, catfish and many other species. The Wiggle Tail version is particularly effective for arapaima and large catfish, as the strongly working tail improves visibility and provokes strikes.

Depending on your preference, choose a completely black version without flash or one with a subtle red, gold, copper or purple flash accent. The flash remains discreet and does not change the pattern’s black character.
